D'Entrecasteaux Coffee is a boutique coffee roaster producing gourmet coffee beans roasted in Tasmania using advanced air-roasting technology.

Unlike traditional drum roasters, which are less controllable and can burn the beans, our roasting process blows hot air through the beans to heat them gently without burning them. The process is computer-controlled and produces a consistent result.  D'Entrecasteaux Coffee's Master Roaster, Esther Fox uses an air-flow coffee roaster designed by her father, James Fox, a professional engineer.

The results speak for themselves. D'Entrecasteaux Coffee produces premium quality coffee beans with high-quality flavours created with advanced roasting technology.

Map shows part of the D'Entrecasteaux Channel.

This map shows the D'Entrecasteaux Channel as it was first charted by early French explorers in year 1793 led by Admiral Bruni D'Entrecasteaux. He also visited Papua New Guinea during his voyage. It is an interesting historic link between Tasmania and Papua New Guinea. Esther's family have lived in the D'Entrecasteaux Channel region for 4 generations, since 1953.
